Terms and Conditions — Grove

Effective Date: August 13, 2025

Welcome to Grove (“Grove,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our mobile applications available on the Apple App Store and Google Play (the “App”) and our website at https://mygroveapp.com/ (collectively, the “Service”).

By downloading, accessing, or using Grove, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use Grove.
  • You may create an account as a Mum user or a Business user.
  • By using the Service, you represent that all registration information you provide is truthful, accurate, and up to date.

2. Account Registration & Security

  • You must create an account to access most features.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
  • You agree not to disclose your password to any third party.
  • You must notify us immediately at info@mygroveapp.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account or any security breach.

3. Subscription & Payment

  • Grove offers a free tier for Mum users with the ability to create up to 3 events and 3 venues.
  • To create unlimited events and venues, you must purchase a subscription (monthly or yearly) through Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing.
  • Business users can create events, venues, and deals.
  • All payments are handled by Apple and Google; Grove does not process or store payment card information.
  • Subscription renewals, cancellations, and refunds are subject to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store policies.

4. Features & Usage Rules

a) Events

  • Public events are visible to all users, including event name, location, and details.
  • Private events show limited information; access must be approved by the event creator.
  • Event organizers may set events as free or paid. If an event is paid, ticketing may be handled externally — Grove is not responsible for ticket sales or refunds.

b) Venues

  • Venues must be accurately described and include the correct category (e.g., park, restaurant, bar) and attributes (e.g., wheelchair access, toilets).

c) Deals (Business Users Only)

  • Businesses may create deals that appear in map and list views.
  • Deals must comply with applicable advertising and consumer protection laws.

d) Content & Conduct

  • You are responsible for any content you post, including event descriptions, photos, and comments.
  • You agree not to post:
    • False or misleading information
    • Offensive, hateful, or unlawful content
    • Content that infringes another’s intellectual property rights
  • We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Location Services

  • Grove uses location data to show nearby events, venues, and deals.
  • You may disable location services in your device settings, but certain features may be limited.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All rights, title, and interest in Grove and its original content (excluding user-generated content), features, and functionality are owned by Grove or its licensors.
  • The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.
  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of Grove without our written permission.

7. Third-Party Links & Services

  • Grove may include links to third-party websites or services (e.g., external ticketing).
  • We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party sites.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grove and its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, and affiliates are not liable for:
    • Losses from event cancellations, ticket disputes, or external transactions
    • Damages from reliance on content posted in the Service
    • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

9. Termination

  • You may stop using Grove at any time.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice or liability, if you breach these Terms or applicable laws.

10. Changes to These Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time.
  • Material changes will be notified in-app or via email.
  • Continued use of Grove after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Grove’s Jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
